We Interrupt this Music Blog...
Okay, I know this is a music blog but I'm about to post about dance. Granted, most dance requires music so it is still in keeping with the spirit of the blog, right? But I was watching "So You Think You Can Dance" tonight (something I believe I've already confessed to watching) and was very moved by the message of peace in the solos that each dancer performed. (Which has apparently stirred up quite the furor over on the Fox forums about pushing political agendas, etc... sheesh people, can anyone really argue with the message that "peace is good"?)
Anyway, the performance that moved me the most was Sara's, which surprised me because my favourite dancers on the show are Lacey and Danny (who just did the hottest samba that I've EVER seen). But while the other dancers danced their solos well, Sara was the only one that seemed to really feel the message of peace and communicate it to the audience by dancing with such conviction. So I just wanted to share it with you (thanks to MickeyWorld.net). I hope you enjoy it as much as I did:
