Why did they only do a bottom two? Seems kind of silly when there are still so many competitors, but that's hardly the main point so...

Bottom two: Matt Rapley and Martha Joy

I was really shocked to see Matt there. I would have thought maybe Jaydee Bixby... but I guess his fan base is too big with all those country folks out there. But at least the final result was the right one as far as I'm concerned: Martha Joy was eliminated.

And next week it's the music of Queen. I'm both excited and worried. Excited because I love the music of Queen. Worried because few people sing it well. And particularly worried for Carly Rae... can she make Queen work for her unique voice? I sure hope so, but we'll have to tune in next week to find out!
