I just spent several hours trying to design a Blogger template for this page only to realize now, all those hours later, that all the new bells and whistles for the New Blogger Layouts are only for those that opt to have their domain redirected back to a blogspot blog. If I wanted a fracking blogspot blog, I'd get a fracking blogspot blog!

So if I want those bells and whistles, I will definitely need to switch to Wordpress or Movable Type. I just hate the idea of having to learn a whole new program. I haven't been enjoying my free Wordpress blog. But I suppose I should set up a test blog on this domain so I can see what Wordpress can really do. #@$%&!

Anyway, the intention of this design was to use the black menu on the left for links to my business site and have the rest of it as my blog. And I would eventually incorporate the title of the blog with the image, to complete the separation of work and play.

Any input on how it looks? I'm not even sure why I'm asking if I'm going be switching platforms anyway... *sigh*
